On the other hand, Jung So-min acted as Oh Ha-ni, a not-so-bright girl who struggles academically and has a big crush on Baek Seung-jo. Due to a circumstance, Ha-ni’s family lives with Seung-jo’s family. At first, Seung-jo is cold to Ha-ni and often looks down on her. While Ha-ni is being herself and chases after Seung-jo everywhere he goes. As time goes by, Seung-jo starts to develop romantic feelings toward Ha-ni. He often acts cold to hide his jealousy. During their time living in the same house, there are a lot of things happening between them, some of them are their sweet moments. Here are some of the romantic moments between Seung-jo and Ha-ni:
First Kiss
On the graduation party, Seung-jo starts to publicly humiliate Ha-ni for having a crush on him and makes everyone laugh. Ha-ni then reveals a childhood photo of Seung-jo. He snatches the photo and grabs Ha-ni by the wrist and drags her outside. Ha-ni starts to get scared and says that she just took revenge on him making fun of her in front of everyone. She tells him that with the end of their high school, she also ends her feeling for Seung-jo. She vows to forget him. Seung-jo asks if Ha-ni is going to forget him then leans in for a kiss. As he leaves, he challenges Ha-ni to try to forget him then. Ha-ni is in utter shock and mumbling to herself that she has kissed with Seung-jo.
Seung-jo Admitting His Feelings
Seung-jo and Ha-ni ride a boat together. Ha-ni is happy that they look like a couple, but Seung-jo tells her the jinx that couples who come there will break up within six months. Upon hearing that, Ha-ni wants to leave immediately and stands up in the boat. Because of her, both of them accidentally fall into the lake. Seung-jo buys cheap shirts for them to change into. Ha-ni points out that the shirts happen to match like a couple’s tee. Seung-jo says that she is being silly. He then tells her that he has never faced difficulties, but after meeting Ha-ni, he feels like he has come into a whole new world. He compares her to a problem he has to solve and says that he won’t run away anymore because the answer is there. Ha-ni is shocked and wondering if that was a proposal. He chides her for jumping to conclusions and clarifies that he was saying that he doesn’t dislike her. He added that being with Ha-ni isn’t easy but he doesn’t dislike it. Overwhelmed with excitement, Ha-ni hugs his arm and thanks him, because she thought that he hated her. She promises that she will try to be better.
Second Kiss
Ha-ni and Baek Eun-jo (Seung-jo’s brother) come to visit Seung-jo who works as a groundskeeper at a mountain villa. Apparently, some other friends are also coming to the villa. When Ha-ni sits at a bench, Seung-jo joins her and says that she should have come alone. He points out that he thought that Ha-ni liked him. He asks if she doesn’t know how he feels. Ha-ni just replies with few words when Seung-jo suddenly puts his hand on her shoulder and kisses her. That’s when Ha-ni wakes up from her daydream, having nodded off on the bench. She thinks the kiss was just in her dreams. But in fact, it was not a dream.
